shoulders down, quiet wilds No images? Click here ![]() A home that remainsHere is a place that changes very slowly. The home where my grandmother was born and raised. She didn't live here in my youth but it was a place we went. I spent countless summers, some winters and occasional times in the spring or autumn here. It takes a minute, not there yet, before the calm seeps into my bones. We have electricity but water is pumped by hand. We mostly heat with a fire stove. The house I have with my wife, where my kids are growing up, is my home. But it is not yet as home as this. It might never be. Today I will help my kids climb the same rocks I climbed their age, run around in the forests of my youth, walk on the shore of the same rapids, we'll pump the water from the well and we'll light fires both for cooking and just because that's what a fire pit is for. I'll do reading, I'll do writing, I'll soothe bruises and make food. It is really quiet here. Very still. My mind still presses with the steam pressure from boiling thoughts, but my body slows down, I calm down, pressure will seep out over time. Thank you for reading. I appreciate it. Also would appreciate if you read the stuff below. Ventures of me and friends. Underjord is openI am currently open for consulting engagements. Paid offerings:
If one of these are of interest, schedule a conversation. Conference trainingsI am not travelling to the US in the near term and I know people don't necessarily want to go to Orlando. But for those that are, for one reason or another, going. There are two trainings by awesome people that you should really consider signing up for. I've met them a few times and adore what they do. There is also a bag of Ash workshops to consider if you are curious about Ash, which I think you should be.
